Online therapy has quietly become one of the most flexible ways to look after your mental health. It removes the barriers of travel, childcare and time — and for many clients, the familiarity of being at home actually makes it easier to open up.
I offer online sessions to individuals, couples, teenagers and supervisees anywhere in Ireland. Sessions run on a secure, private video link — no account, no app.
If you're not sure whether online will work for you, get in touch and we'll talk it through.
Frequently asked
Is online therapy as effective as in-person?+
For most people, yes. Research over the past decade consistently shows online therapy is as effective as in-person for anxiety, depression, relationship work and many other issues.
What platform do you use?+
Sessions run over a secure, GDPR-appropriate video platform. I'll send you a private link before each session — no account or app install required.
Where in Ireland do you work with clients?+
Anywhere. Online sessions mean location isn't a barrier — clients join from Wexford, Dublin, Cork, Galway, Donegal and everywhere in between.
What do I need to prepare?+
A private space where you won't be overheard, a reliable internet connection, and a device with a camera and microphone. Headphones help with privacy.
Can couples and teens do online sessions too?+
Yes. Online works well for couples where one partner travels, and for teenagers who prefer to meet from their own room.
What if the connection drops?+
It happens occasionally. We agree a backup plan at the start — usually a phone call — so no time is lost from your session.
